Thrive New Orleans is committed to racial equity by advancing new systems for economic opportunity, climate resiliency, and community stability. Thrive focuses on three areas of impact: developing a skilled workforce, building the capacity of small businesses, and engaging youth and families.
Thrive envisions an equitable future for New Orleans with living-wage jobs, critical infrastructure for climate change, and flourishing neighborhoods.
Thrive 9th Ward
Thrive 9th Ward (T9) provides a safe, fun space for community members to grow together, and creates opportunities for neighbors to grow personally and professionally through summer camps, youth programs, sports and rec programming, and workforce training.
Green Business Academy
Thrive’s Green Business Academy creates an on-ramp for business owners and emerging entrepreneurs into the stormwater management and green infrastructure industry.
Thrive Works Green
Our current offerings equip participants to launch new careers in:
- Green Infrastructure and Stormwater Management (Thrive Works Green)
- Transportation (CDL Class B Licensure)
- Digital Skills Training for Older Adult workers
